Am staying here last week of Oct. and had heard of them adding an excessive "tax" onto your weekly stay rate. This is going thru Interval International "getaways" ( great rate ) for a one week stay in 2 bdrm condo in the Villas side of La Cabana. I am aware of the $13.50 per day gov. tax they will add on but wondering if anyone else had more info or used a "getaway" and stayed here recently? Also wondering if oasis beach bar still closed, any "bad" smell on eagle beach or near La Cabana, and any fly pblms at resort? This will be my 3rd visit to island/staying in the Villas but bringing 3 other couples with this time so a bit concerned.
