We have stayed at LaCabana 3 times now and will be going back for a 4th visit sometime next year. Usually it is just my wife and I and have always just rented a 1 bedroom. Next year our sons ages 26 & 22 want to come with us. I see people renting on the LaCabana website and mention "lock out" units. Is that a smaller unit attached to a 1 bedroom and acts as a second bedroom? Or do I have to look into renting 2 one bedrooms? What would be the most economical thing to do? We thought about just doing a 1 bedroom but I'd hate to stick them on a pull out couch for a week.

most of the units at lacabana are in groups of 3 ABC A and C are 1 bedrooms
B is a studio

each has kitchen
A and Cs sleep 4, 2 in king bedroom and 2 on sleep sofa
B's has a queen bed and a seep sofa
each has a full bath

if you get an A and B or B and C unit it will work perfectly for your situation
and they CONNECT so if you rented a AB or BC you would also get 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens

or an E unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths

(only a few of them)

those units have 1 large king bedroom
2 baths
so, that may also be an option.
order a rollaway bed for 1, sleep sofa for 1 and the king bed for you and spouse.
and 2 bathrooms to share.

so inquire about a 1 bedroom deluxe.
