LaCabana Pool/beach table lounge "tagging"

to the best of my knowledge this is really enforced during the now high season.
if you want a spot b4 7 am, you have to get there, and stay with it.
after 7, let the security person know you have staked your claim and you are allowed to leave the spot for upwards of 2 hrs. i was personally told by one of the lacabana security guards (not the rent a guards) that you CAN leave for 2 hrs, but no longer.

as to my friends from lake winnipesuakee that are at lacabana all winter.....
no more going to the pool at 5:30 am, distributing towels and tee shirts onto 6 tables and chairs/lounges and sitting with them. the people that will be using the tables/chairs must be the ones sitting guard........not 1 person for a group of tables as in the past.

NEW TAGGING PROCEDURE POOL DECK TABLES & BEACH HUTS

Print this Article ShareThis Posted on: 12/20/2011
Reservation of pool deck tables/umbrellas and beach huts are not allowed at our Resort. It has become a regular practice by our owners and guests to place towels and personal belongings on lounge chairs or tables at the pool and beach to so-called “reserve” for use later in the morning or afternoon. This inconsiderate act leaves many of our owners and guests out in the sun and is the main source of aggravation and complaints at our Resort.

Effective Saturday, December 17, our Security Officers in cooperation with our Pool & Beach Staff will have a new regulation in place to neutralize this routine and reduce the ill effects.

The pool tables and beach huts will be available from 06:00am on. Tagging of unattended huts and umbrellas/tables with towels and or personal belongings will take place between 7:00am and 3:00pm, every hour, daily (except Wednesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm).

Security will keep track of the time of tagging in both areas. All unattended huts and tables/umbrellas will be made available for usage to other owners and guests. Personal belongings removed will be handed over to the Lost & Found department where they can be claimed.

Our Security Officers will consistently enforce and follow through on the new tagging procedure to give all our owners and guests the same fair chance to enjoy a relaxed stay at our Resort and beautiful Eagle Beach.

Thank you in advance for your compliance.

We're your next door neighbors at Paradise Beach. Several years ago the resort tried to enforce a similar policy to keep early birds from coming out to the pool and toweling a dozen loungers around a couple of palapas then disappearing until late morning.

The enforcement attempt was a failure so they added loungers and palapas.
