Hello All.....do the timeshares at the Occidental have safes? Also, is there a way to guarantee an ocean front palapa each day?

The Occidental time shares have a safe in the room.
The only way to try and get an ocean front palapa is to get down there very early in the morning. I have heard that if you tip one of the people down by the towel hut well at the beginning of the week they will help you out. Although I can't confirm that one. I get down to the beach early and read a book while the wife sleeps in and then we meet for breakfast. Works for us, but even if I get there at 7:30 seems like the beach front palapa are gone. Maybe because they duke the chair guy by the towel hut! LOL
