FYI...Renaissance lovers.....my husband got an email from the maintainance people cocerning the pools at the suites...they haven't started re-doing them. Our biggest concern was that they would be working on them when we were there in april....but, no..no date set yet...Yah

I remember Brian talking about that when we were there last November I can't believe they will do that re-surfacing job during high season...

Pierre, Yes, my husband contacted Brian, Cecelia, Linda and finally ended up with the guy in charge of maint. (He was persistant to say the least....) He was afraid the kids would be disapointed if the pool was closed in April. Thanks, We can keep each other updated....cindy

Hi all,

Just back from a very nice vacation!

Here's what we learned at the owners meeting:
-No more confirmation of usage, just pay the maintenance fee.
email Liliana only if you don't intend to use your week or want to exchange, etc...
-New standing chairs for April (around the pool not for the balcony)
-Pool resurfacing will most probably be done in September
-Light fixture over the dinning area soon
-70 more balcony doors to be change this year, the remaining doors is for next year.

And in 2009 the resort will be smoke free. Room and balcony included.

Pierre, thanks so much for the update at Rennaissance. I am sure we will hear the same thing for our owners meeting. ( Really only go for the raffles....no only kidding). We'll be there in 7 days. We were saying at our dinner table that next week at this time we sb at Iguana Joes having one of their pink iguanas...
