Upgrade charges Divi Village

Does anyone know how much the upgrade charges would be to go from a studio to a 1 bedroom, or from a gold to a platinum week? I am looking to purchase a unit and want to understand what all my options are for future vacations. Thank you.

Yes, they are outrageous........to go from a studio up to a 1 bedroom it is the maintenance cost of your studio PLUS the full cost of the 1 bedroom. So if your studio is 510 add another approximately 650 to that.
To go from gold to platinium it is approximately the same idea....the upgrade is about the same as an upgraded room, plus the room, plus the room upgrade. I wanted to buy a studio in the silver season but use it in the gold but with all of the upcharges it wasn't worth the price. If you want exact numbers call Divi in Chapell Hill, NC and they will give you exact numbers...here is their phone # (800) 367-3484

Don't think that is quite right. It's $300 to upgrade either season or unit. I own 4 weeks at Divi resorts (2 Platinum studios in Aruba and a silver and gold 1 bedroom in Barbados). So to go up from a silver to gold is $300 (assuming no unit size change), silver to platinum would be $600. Studio to 1 bd is $300, studio to 2bd is $600 (assuming no change in time class). They of course don't give you a credit if you down grade, so if you took a platinum studio to a gold 1 bd, you'd still pay $300.
It's gone up from when I first joined Divi, but is not quite as bad as indicated above. These fees are all laid out on the back of my maintenance bill. You then pay the normal maintenance fee for whatever unit you are using (not in addition to your normal maintance fee - so no change if you only upgrade time, not room size).

Magnusm, I stand corrected. I double checked my booklet and it is $300 to upgrade season to season unless you are jumping from silver to platinum and then it is $600. And to go from studio to 1bedroom it is $300..etc.
When I first joined Divi you could upgrade easily and I bought a studio on the recommendation of the sales rep because he told me if I wanted to so to Hawaii for example to just pick a hotel that only starts with one bedroom units and it would not be considered an upgrade...also at Divi if I wanted to upgrade it would only cost the price of the higher unit and a transfer fee...which we used to do...studio to a penthouse for peanuts, until the management company decided to change the fee system...then we had to upgrade our unit to a 2 bedroom because it was cheaper than upgrading...
