Week 52 Fri Dec 30 to Fri Jan 6 Tropicana Aruba Resort
Week 52 Trop Aruba superior 1 bdrm Fri to Fri
For rent, Unit 5515J (a superior one bedroom unit, there are only 3 of this configuration on the property). Location is Tropicana Aruba Resort, Eagle Beach. This is an over-sized unit with larger dining and living area and full kitchen including refrigerator, full size range with oven, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, and the usual small appliances. Occupancy is 4. Bedroom has king sized bed, and there is a queen sleeper sofa. The unit is on the 5th floor overlooking the water slide pool deck. Daily timeshare tax is $10.28 and there is a $6 per day energy surcharge. Rental is Friday to Friday, December 30 to January 6. Asking price for the rental: $900. |

question
What and where is the tropicana Is this the Old LaCabana that the casino was closed and they had that little place that was a steak house being used to replace the nice casino called the Tropicana? I would like to find a reasonable place but need to be sure where it is locat5ed/

the tropicana is the former "aruban", which was the former Lacabana Villas/Suites. (there is NO relationship between the TROPICANA and LACABANA BEACH AND RACQUET CLUB.)
and the short answer is YES. the steakhouse is a currently closed casino, (slated to open soon or so they say) and a small restaurant. the old large royal cabana casino is closed and is a hulking shell of concrete and dust. there are plans for a transformation and rebirth, but no one is holding their breath.
