In March 2007 we stayed at the Amsterdam Manor. It was a good accomodation, but there is an abandoned waste water treatment plant a few hundred yards behind the property and at times, it really put out a bad odor. The odor was also noticable on parts of Eagle Beach, but better as we moved a bit further (toward the LaCabana area). Does anyone know if repairs have been made as stated they would be? The odor, while not horrendous, was certainly annoying. Thanks.

The problem with the treatment plant (located in the vicinity of Amsterdam Manor) was taken care of in early May 2007.

Yes,

The odor is gone. You can enjoy the Amsterdam Manor and Eagle beach without any bad smell.
