Vacation at Gold Coast

Hey guys,
I just got back from a wonderfull vacation in Aruba.
I stayed at Gold Coast Villas Aruba in a 2 bdrm townhouse with my wife and another couple.
It was amazing, the location was perfect. We were so close to everything.
We rented a car from Avis and moved along the island with no problem.
It was truly a great value compared to a hotel and the price was around 300 $(divided between 2 couples)per night and it was much more than a room, it was a HOUSE.
I really reccomend this place to everyone

How was your experience with Avis? Did you get the discounted rate?

You will understand my questions about Avis if you go to the post listed in my signature!

Well, the reservation was made directly by Gold Coast.
The price was great, the car was pretty new and clean so i don't have a complaint aimed towards Avis. It was a great service.

Which beach did you guys go to? Our family has a 3 bedroom in GCV. We were there in October , but the house was still being worked on so we stayed at the Marriott. We will be back for New Years this year and staying at the condo.

Were there a lot of people around? It was pretty dead when we were there!

We used Avis when were there - no problems. My wife worked for Avis corporate for 5 years though... so I can't say anything bad. LOL

Gee..... We drove to Arashi, we went to a beach to a beach @ Malmok.
We hung around a lot around the poll area at GC. They told me that the second pool would be finished in 5 weeks. That was about 10 days ago, so its probably getting done.
It wasn't that empty when i was there, But it wasn't overflowing with people either. lol

We own in Gold Coast and go to Arashi Beach and Marsals between the Hyatt and Occidental. We also use Avis and book thru Gold Coast. The place has been wonderful and the people are great at Gold Coast.

Arashi beach is a bit far - we were looking for something as close as possible to the house. The beach at Malmok was pretty rocky - although there did seem to be some pretty good snorkeling in that area. We will be back in October for a few days and a few weeks in Dec/Jan. I'm sure we will figure it out then. The pool always works!
