    Airline Snacks

    Just read this article:

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/free-airpl...163610275.html

I know there are a lot of JetBlue, United, SouthWest and Delta fliers out there - any experience with the goodies?

I'm flying Air Canada this weekend and will demand the Peek Freans!

Having flown United on a number of occasions, I don't recall the cheese and crackers being anything to write home about but the root chips they used to serve were amazing.

Jet Blue is pretty generous with the snacks. I have never seen biscotti though. It's usually chocolate chip cookies, Terra Blue Chips, Mixed Nuts, Animal crackers and some kind of pop corn type cracker that I like.

Ugh. I remember those Midway Airline chocolate chip cookies from the 1990s. I'm still trying to lose that poundage. Oink!

Are these yummy treats you speak of "freebies"? If so I'm impressed. Can't remember when uSAIR gave away snacks it has been a while. Half the time with no time to but a sandwich for connection to Aruba they only have a number of items available to purchase. Last year I wanted a salad and they had only 7 left and not many more sandwiches for over 100 people. This is another reason I prefer a longer layover.

Jet Blue snacks are free. They do also charge for some box items like cheese and crackers.

Delta’s Biscoff cookies IF you can get them Had not had them in a couple of years until they were offered in Business class.

Were they as good as the article claims?

Trying to understand, what is the difference between 1st class nuts/pretzels and those of business class or coach. Seems like they all look the same. Taste the same, but only come with a smile in the inflated classes
