    American Idol Season 8

    My early favorites:

Anoop- the guy from Chapel Hill who said a quick tribute to Eve Carson
Danny- widowed just 4 weeks before try outs
Jorge- Puerto Rican who took the judges advice on diction lessons only to be told, it wasn't needed
Michael- how can you not root for the all American blue collar underdog , reminds me of Josh Gracin
Scott- what a cutie patootie, with some voice lessons...Josh Groban?

Imo, the girls are all "screamers".

Did anyone watch the bachelor? Cannot wait for the new Bachelorette Jillian.

Lisa, watched the bachelor..what gives with that guy. Who I really feel for is that little boy who has NO idea what his father is doing, nothing like getting attached to someone who is going to be his stepmom, and then have her rejected....
He seems like a really nice guy, but Jes, what is going on in that mind??? The kicker was when that old bachlorette shows up...whats up with that.
Hopefully he will find LOVE, LOVE, Love and get married.
Watching idol, you're right, the chicks are a little loud. I don't like Lil, not sure why, just me I guess. I really like Danny and will be rooting for him.

    I liked this summation

because I think there was probably more to Melissa after filming stopped than what we saw? Immaturity?

We all really liked Jillian, probably the most mature of the bunch, so will look forward to the Bachelorette.

Jason and Molly were on the Ellen show today. He was sorry he broke up with Melissa the way he did. Yah, I think there is more to the story.

Awww...I hope they are happy, that's what counts.

Having been divorced and then going back two years later to try to work things and give it a second chance, I can see how if he knew he was not going to be happy, why lead Melissa on?

I was happy to see Charlie and Sarah back together. That was the first time I watched the Bachelor because they were in Aruba!

    Last night:

Anoop- was pretty lousy, maybe deserves to go
Danny- going to be towards the top, maybe top 2, his dance moves reminded me of Taylor Hicks
Jorge- didn't do as well last night, but I still think he has a lot of sincere appeal
Michael- like Anoop, did not do as well, but am still rooting for the blue collar guy
Scott- still needs some voice lessons...and self confidence

the girls- are all "screamers", STILL

Adam did a great job, probably the best of the night, but my "rocker" days are pretty much over.

I was sad to see Jorge go , but he wasn't worth the new "judge's save".

Jasmine was a little too young and inexperienced.
