hahahah thanks!
we have been hemming and hawing about this trip to aruba for a few months now!
paul and i wanted to go to las vegas and we had booked vegas quite a while back.
then a couple of months ago i realized that i had 2 interval certificates that were expiring at the end of december.
we did the math and figured that if we were to go to vegas it would cost considerably more in gambling money......money we just did not have to throw away on gambling.

we looked into ireland, scotland, italy, but it all boiled down to finances or lack thereof.
there was lots of interval openings all over the world for the 2 weeks before christmas.

so we booked aruba using the certificates.
we did not cancel vegas til last week!
we kept thinking and rethinking and finally made the switch.

airtran was awesome in holding seats for us and making the switch from vegas to aruba easy and relatively cheap. airtran continued to hold space on the aruba flight for over 6 weeks!!! i did have to call them every 3 days to ask them to extend.

so, tomorrow morning we are off to aruba.
i pray for safe and uneventful travels.
we hope for good weather, few mosquitos, a few awesome dinners and meeting old and new friends.

i will pop on the forum as time permits.
most likely will be on early mornings and late evenings.

gotta tell you.........with the christmas gifts, and groceries andstuf others have asked us to deliver to various people.......we have 99.6 lbs spread out in 2 suitcases.

Andrea, Have a wonderful time in Aruba.....wish I were going back already...hope the sun holds and the showers are over....but if you didn't, make sure you get bug spray...I was almost eaten alive in November....first time I ever remember it being that bad.....
I will toast to you on Christmas if you do the same and maybe when I am done toasting I will magically appear in Aruba !!!!!!!!
