Every once in a while I smell a really good pipe burning I was wondering if anyone knew what blends or tobaccos they were.

he has not found ANY worthwhile pipe tobacco on island..

Arubamark,

There is a place in Philadelphia called Holt's Cigar. If you go to their website and just enter "tobacco" into their search feature, it will produce a list of all sorts of choices of pipe tobacco. They are very well described. I think you can order over the internet as well.

Nothing like the relaxing, stoking of a nice blend, watching the wisps go by. I think people have forgotten about the simple pleasures in life.

Been puffing on my Hatwoodie for 2 weeks now. I ordered some realy nice blends from Pipeworks & Wilke , they used to be upstate NY a long time ago but now they are out of Vermont. I bought 4oz of the Rum Cake blend which had really good reviews. Once I find MY blend, I plan on sitting down with my pipe, a good cup of coffee and SanNic's book!

Maybe I will save this for my trip to Aruba in April.

Bach was a famous pipe smoker and even wrote a piece of music about stoking his favorite blend.

While every vice has its amount of pleasure and risk, I think pipe smoking has got to be among the most contemplative.

New to the forums, so I thought i would introduce myself. My name is Andrew (aka Old Toby) and I head up a Pipe & Tobacco Podcast (Online Radio Show) at "old toby dot com" (can't post links on here

). I found this thread on Google and thought a few of you may be interested.

We just recorded our 10th Podcast, I would start listening at that one if you are new. We have forums to discuss Pipes, Tobacco, Cigars and anything else related. We discuss Pipe tips and have a great time rating different tobaccos. We also give away Pipe Tobacco from time to time.
