Aruba Arribas and Coecoei

Just finished having some New Year's Eve Chinese food with Aruba Arribas.

My daughters got me some Coecoei (that mysterious 7th ingredient in an Aruba Arriba that you can only get in Aruba) for Christmas. Voila! We're drinking Aruba Arribas in snow country.

Happy New Year everyone!

We brought some coecoei home a couple years back. (you can make lots of aribas from a bottle). As good as they taste, it's just not the same when the temp is -8F!!!!!

Yum. I will print this out. Although I might save the first taste until I get to Aruba!

Of course not the same, but you can use Red Grenadine as the closest Coecoei substitute.

Believe it or not, I think a mix of grenadine and sambuca comes even closer

There you go! If it is not Gin, Pina Colada, Amstel Bright, Corona, Balashi, champagne or wine, I don't drink it.
