To the most prolific "poster" on Aruba.com, Arubalisa, wishes for a magnificent Christmas and New Year aboard the Queen Mary II. May your grandmother's dreams be fulfilled and may your entire family be healthy and have a most enjoyable cruise.
Then, come home and start your countdown to your next Aruba trip!
Lisa, DD, & DH....have a wonderful, safe trip aboard that fabulous ship. Enjoy the trip of a life time. Check in with us if you can and keep us posted.
Have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year aboard the Queen Mary 2.
Thank you so much my kind and generous friends. Tomorrow will be spent packing and then the annual trek to the nail salon with dd for a couple of hours of pampering.
Thursday will be spent in the car driving to Mom and Dad's in Florida.
Friday at 10:30 a.m. the car service picks us up at their house to take us to Fort Lauderdale and the Queen Mary 2. I will still be online until then so if Andrea or Liz does not catch it first, watch out you spammers !!! Once we get on board I will "try" to check in with you my friends.
15 nights and the only things we have planned are a tour of the Gatun locks at the Panama Canal (dd was too young last time and did NOT pay attention ), private tours in Dominica and St. Kitts as well as a guided snorkel trip in Bonaire. Our guide, "Renee" has received nothing but glowing recommendations so we have a feeling, that may be the highlight of our trip.
Pictures? LOL, the last cruise there were about 2000 for 11 nights, this trip is 15 nights and a LOT bigger ship! ...I'll let you all do the math. The cruise before that was 4000 pics.
On the down side , dd is getting over a head cold and dh has just come down with it. I am chugging Airborne and doing a lot of praying.
Most importantly I wish all of my Aruba BB friends a holiday season full of love and joy as well as a healthy, happy and prosperious New Year filled with LOTS of trips to Aruba! Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas.
