Just a quick note to say hello from Paris. Flew First Class from MSP-CDG and it was...wonderful (great champagne, food, comforters, pillows, newspapers, magazines, movies to choose from...you name it!)

Arrived on Wed. and have been walking our you-know-whats off. Our studio apt. we rented is very, very tiny (my room at Amsterdam Manor is WAY bigger - LOL!) but we have a terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower which makes up for it.

Been seeing the sights, going to markets (going to buy some scallops today) and just enjoying everything!

Netbook is great! We have Wifi in the apt. so easy to load photos every day, check email, etc.

Okay, this is not a food photo from a restaurant but.....this is what we did tonight for dinner on our terrace: caprese salad (all fresh ingredients and purchased from the local street market), rotisserie chicken (also purchased from the local street market later in the day), wine, baguette, balsamic vinegar and oil for bread dipping, and last but not least.....view of the Eiffel Tower.

Also had stroopwafels for dessert thanks to our Dutch friends who visited us from Holland over the weekend!

I ALMOST CHEWED A HOLE IN MY COMPUTER SCREEN.

The one thing I can't get here in Aruba is good rotisserie chicken. ENJOY.
