My oh my , turned on the TV about 45 minutes ago and have already seen Christmas commercials:
1 Walmart
1 Branson
1 Hallmark
1 I don't remember because I am already numb from commercialism

Most major stores around me already have the tress on display. WOW!!

One September I was in PriceSmart in Aruba (our Costco/Sams) and they had Christmas trees on display for sale.

wow we are back to this thread!
we are very lucky this year......i am done shoppiing.
we bought kevin and becca a couple of dinners fro thier aruba honeymoon and the tranquillo snorkel adventure.

then we just buy for the kids......paul's 2 grand nieces and grand nephew Amazon gift cards. we don't "know" these kids, so for us to shop, and ship to them is pointless.
and we NEVER receive acknowledgement from them either which pisses me off to no end. my new grand niece an amazon gift card, so that her parents can pick her out something nice, and my other 2 grand nieces.........morgan gets a giant cupcake baking pan and some baking supplies and abby gets cray pas fancy oil pastel crayons and a bound drawing/sketch pad.

considering it is not even veterans day, i am pretty smug sitting here feeling successful.
internet made the shopping easy.

I cannot remember the last time we did NOT do all of our shopping on the internet

yikes I wish I was done! Would help if I knew what to buy! I think alot of internet/ gift cards are in store this year!

I really don't need/ want anything....SO>>>>>>I brought up to dh the other day, instead of buying gifts for each other (him and I, and alot for the kids) That we should do a trip to aruba instead! us and the kids!

I think is is on board!!! we woudn't go for christmas, but sometime late january! Doesn't that sound like a better gift!

Does that just drive you crazy !!!! I go nuts and I mean nutso if the kids don't write thank you notes. I think that is so rude !!! I mean they write them for everything, its just plain common courtesy, like it or not, someone thought enough of you to bring you something....blah, blah, blah...Then again, I am nuts too ! Oh well..I am the worst mom alive..
