He was discharged from hospital earlier today and is feeling good.
The neurosurgeon is pushing for him to have the disc fusion surgery.
His primary Dr is advising, slow and easy, pain management and PT and exhausting all resources before considering the surgery.
Tomorrow he'll make an appointment with his primary Dr and will try to make a real plan.
Tonight we talked about our upcoming Aruba trip and one of the things he said was, yup, I am looking forward to a few cigars!
I reminded him of the cigar conversation with the admitting nurse and he said that he has no memory of the conversation.
Then of course the topic turned to Aruba restaurants and too many restaurants and not enough nights

Funny how just talking about Aruba makes you forget about everything else. That was a really funny story thanks for sharing it, made me laugh. Hopefully Paul feels better and hope he can find something to ease the pain. I can only imagine what sitting on a plane is like but once in Aruba he can relax with a nice cigar and martini.
Paul... Do you need some cigars now???
i will bring some home and mail to you.
tell us what you like and we'll send them off. That way If you are in any pain a few puffs might help.
do they go stale? No Cubans though, don't need to see the lovely jail.
Hi Cindy from Paul Thanks you are very nice. But, I will wait for Aruba on Nov 7. I think too that I may even have 2 cigars in my shave kit.
I try not to smoke here at home but only in Aruba.
We hope that you have a good vacation and will you let us know how the Renaissance renovations are progressing?
