Delta delay!!

Did you hear about the Delta flight that sat in the plane for 4 hours??!!!!!!! That was us. The flight crew and maintence couldn't figure out how to read a fuel gage.
Then we had a 4 hour flight after that. Most everyone missed their connecting flights.
Was not a fun trip home.

Next week that turns into a potential $25k fine per person for the airline.

Oh that's awful!!! I got antsy sitting on the plane for 1/2 hour, I can't imagine it for FOUR!

thanks for sharing - that is brutal - especially coming home and trying to organize connecting flignts, pickup, etc. - hopefully everything else worked out.

no, it never got better. They did manage to get us on a flight that was suppose to leave at 10:30, (we got in at 9:30) which would of been great.....that flight didn't leave until just after midnight. they were waiting for the attendents to come from another city. we had the pilots but no flight attendents. so, we ended up getting into Milwaukee after 1:30. ended up we booked a room (oh course at our expensive) because we still had another 1:30 drive.
Gotta love flying ;~}
