greetings from N berwick maine (kittery/york area).
for any of you leaf peepers, if the weather cooperates, there is some pretty good color in southern maine.

we are here in s maine for a few days, then on to cape ann then back here, then home next weekend.

hop on 95n and check out the reds and oranges.

Andrea, welcome "home" for a bit!

I just returned from a quick visit with my daughter and grandson in Western Mass (Conway/Ashfield/Shelburne Falls area) -- the leaves have started to turn and it was so beautiful!

we used to rake quite a bit and then using the rider lawnmower we'd ride over them and cut them up ......made like a nice lawn mulch.
last year we gave up on most of the raking and did a lot of mowing. worked very well.

For the fall clean up we now hire a landscaping company. Aruba is to close and both DW and I have had nasty sinus infections going so we decided its worth every penny.

Leaves just starting to think about turning here in PA, but that is okay since I know that Aruba is now very very close !!!!!
No leaves in yard to worry about...sorry folks...

Wish we had a "rainbow" at the end of the winter to look forward to, but probably not this year

And the winter seems to get longer and colder every year! I'll have to just enjoy everyone elses trips here on the forum!

due to not that much rain here this summer, and the heat, we have seen leaves falling all summer. Ours in Central jersey are just starting to change now... Not much, but a little bit.
I agree with the raking of the leaves... dh did the lawn yesterday (just our back yard) and got 6 bags...
