    Football Schedule Blues

I'm a Washington Redskins fan, which is hard enough, but today the schedule came out and I'm a little saddened by a few things. My birthday will be an away game against most of your beloved Patriots - probably won't be pretty for us. It's hard to be positive about our team lately. Our Sunday in Aruba we play the NY Giants, no doubt we will be outnumbered anywhere we go. And then the day after we return from Aruba we have a late Monday night Dallas game that is a rivalry game for us so we will have to stay up late on our last night before returning to work after a week and a half off.

I'm type this half in jest and half in harsh reality.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Being a Pat's fan.... we send our deepest sympathy in advance....... lol
Would love to go to a Pat's game.
Might get tickets for the Miami game on Jan 3th, since we will be in Fort Lauderdale for a cruise leaving the next day.
Great Christmas Present on top of the cruise... surprise Christmas gift.

i would love to see a Super Bowl, large screen, on the beach in aruba.

tracey...you may have to "belly up to a bar", a sports bar and watch the game while in aruba!

That was another disappointment, we play both Miami and Tampa Bay but both are home games here in DC. Wouldn't mind a long weekend in Florida to see or team one of these years.

You know we will And I'm sure we will be in jerseys in even the Aruba heat. Or I will use it as an excuse to my a new shirt! We love our team through the good and the bad.

Super Bowl was one of my favorite memories in Aruba!

Bad news, Patriots bye week is week 4....too early. Good news....I'll be in Aruba that week and won't be torn between beach and game! I like to avoid TV during my Aruba trips.

We'll be in Aruba for the Thursday night opener against that team from Pittsburg so I guess it will be a late night at Busters. We fly home the next day...

We've been lucky. Super Bowl week has been the middle of our two-week stay. Not in 2016. We'll be flying home on Superbowl Sunday.

Of course, odds are we won't be all that invested in the game this year.

We were there during Redskins bye week last year but still watched a little. This year will be tricky as it is our moving day to Playa Linda. By that time our team is usually out of things so we may not want to watch..lol. Although we never really give up hope. It worked out that we have a Monday night game on our travel day home. We have a hard enough time sitting still on the plane ride, we would be even more moody missing a game.

We never vacation during World Series or Super Bowl time, would not be good to be away while our teams play 😁😁
