Thank you all so very much for your prayers and good wishes. And Andrea, thank you for starting this prayer chain. I told Rick you all were praying for him, and he's very grateful.

I have some very hopeful news to share. He had movement for the first time in his foot and leg today. They had told us to expect recovery in his extremities from his foot up, and that's just what we saw. He couldn't make the movements again later, but they said that was also normal. He had blindness in the left half of both eyes, but today, he said he could see me in his left periphery vision. He's going to be moved to the rehabilitation hospital tomorrow.

Understandably, he's fuzzy on how many days he's been ill, and doesn't realize that we were supposed to leave this morning for Aruba. We've been gently trying to tell him that we'll be going to Aruba very soon. I also told him that of all our trips, this one, by far, will be the most meaningful. Even more so than our honeymoon 29 years ago.

Having seen the miracles that prayers have accomplished; there is no doubt that Rick will be in my prayers for a speedy, and if possible, a complete recovery.

Like Lisa said, Aruba can wait...it always will be there.

God bless, you, Kellie, and Rick.

    Ed
