Has anybody out there ever been to French Polynesia? Our annual trip to Aruba has been put off until August of 2009, so I was thinking about a suprise trip to Tahiti/ Bora Bora for Beth sometime this December.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Back to Vegas

We have friends who have done a cruise on the Paul Gauguin and loved it. We're normally not "cruise people" but this particular ship is something that we think we'd like.

Thanks Amy, we are not "cruise people" either, prefer to get there and relax; I just don't think that one can get the proper feel by just stopping in a port.

You are a clever man to spring this surprise. My pal goes there to scuba dive. He loves it. He talks about how he "roughs it" whatever that means. I'll talk to him and clarify later.
