Very sorry for your loss DiviDiviFan. May she rest in peace.

Nothing like they were predicting here in Jersey. Like Gaby said, less than we had last storm, maybe 3" by me. But Sunday night the school had already decided on an early dismissal for Monday and no school Tuesday so we were home. Crazy!

To all of ya Northern's I feel for ya' all.
Lived in Cape Cod for years; the weather got to cold for me... off to Daytona Beach area since 98..
Never can go back there again.. gee when it hits 50's I am freezing to death.
Only time we go back is for funerals... just don't understand why they go to heaven during the winter.
    Stay safe and keep warm.

we made the move too from E. Ma to W. Central Fla in winter 2010.
we will reach our 5 yr anniversary here on March 1.

we head up to MA and ME in the summer for a week or 2 and then the fall for a week or 2.

Tom keeps asking me what I think the temperature is in Florida and I'm the one doing the shoveling!! We didn't get his truck shoveled out after the last storm. It's now covered with about 5 feet of snow. Oh well, Spring can't be that far away.

temp here is 66 right now.
we had rain (heavy) most of the day.
and we are expecting our first frost maybe on friday night.

in the first 40 days of 2015, we have had only 10 that have been pool days.
    (meaning above 68 degrees)
it has been a cool windy winter so far.

maybe the truck will be found before your May trip?

I think I would take 66 degrees. Tom has been talking more and more about relocating. I've always wanted to stay where we are. After this winter I may change my tune. So glad we booked Aruba for May. Hope we can catch up for dinner or something. As for the truck I'm not sure when we will ever see it

Where in Florida are you located?
Yes it has been raining all day and chilly.
A great day for homemade spaghetti sauce with all the fixings..
Still use our fireplace here on the cooler days
Such a whimp with those four letter words... snow, cold, rain and of course diet... lol
