Jury is still out...slow thus far.

What time do you shut off your lights? In the past during a weeknight we usually go to 8 pm. Longer tonight because it is a Saturday?

We got 82. Some young some older but a nice night. We usually get just over a hundred. Missed them. Lights out at 8:00 per the local Police.

We celebrated Halloween last evening in our town? I am not sure but they always do it on the 30th. I bought a large bag of candy from Sams Club and we usually have half of it left. Last night we had to shut the lights off after about an hour...ran out of candy quite unusual. After sitting in the dark for an hour must husband informed me he had "stashed" away some of the candy! Remarkabale man!! Oh and by the way not 1 stash but 2. One in the cabinet and the other in the freezer!?!?!

We had much less than last year, probably less than half. Shut the lights out about 8:30.

we did not expect many trick or treaters............nieces came for dinner last night and they got their snickers, butterfinger and skittles (not the fun size)

so the snickers were in the bowl for any treaters tonight

we live on a culdesac, no families on the street............just a bunch of singles or folks like paul and i (empty nesters) we had hoped we would have a few treaters. weather pleasant and in the 60s, we sat out on the porch for quite a while.

disappointed that no kids came :-(

If the weather is good we can get around 100 but this year it was cold and because it was on a Saturday alot of people hosted Halloween parties in their homes for the kids. So this was a very quiet year for us....only about 40 kids. The leftover candy is now in the freezer (lasts longer that way because we usually only eat one piece at a time when it's frozen. )

I do love the little kids who are out with their parents before it gets dark....they can barely make it up the steps to the front door....but are always good about saying thank you (with a little help from the parents.) They're just so darn cute in their little pumpkin and princess fairy costumes!

Lights out for us at 8pm.
