help re: new mattress

Sealy Posturepedic Plush dynasty CSS

this is the bed that paul and i are trying to find.
Lacabana had this mattress and we have never slept better.
(both paul and i are thrashers in bed and sleep poorly)

This Sealy mattress at lacabana was firm yet soft and comfortable and it was cool...................we did not sweat.
(currently at home we are sleeping on a tempurpedic King and it is HOT and uncomfortable)

So i have googled and googled and cannot find this mattress for us to buy. Apparently it is a "hotel product".

I have emailed Sealy to ask them what their retail equivalent mattress is and have gotten no reply.

anyone suggestions?

I had heard or read somewhere that Hotels are having them custom made. They are using them as a marketing ploy. I know Marriott does this, but they would be chain wide, I do not know if La Cabana is a large enough account to warrant the rights. If I run across it I will let you know!!!! Sorry I am not more help!!!!

I mutated the search and just looked for SP Dynasty. After doing the full search and finding only your post here.
I think this is what you are looking for on their web site.
http://www.sealy-contract.com/prod-dynasty.aspx

It is the CSS series available in multiple styles. I have my fingers crossed that you can find it!
Use this search and you should find a bunch of places to look.

WOW thank you
I did go to that site and called a nice lady that works for Sealy.
She in turn put me in touch with a person named Sheri that will further direct me to a mattress. Apparently there is a retail "equivalent to the Dynasty CSS". yippee.

paul and i are sleeping on one of those memory foam beds and have not had a good night sleep in 3 yrs. we thrash around and sweat! (but we do not spill the glass of red wine )

do any of you out there in cyberland like your memory foam mattreses? from what i hear folks either hate them or love them.
ours is HOT and UNCOMFORTABLE.

Hi Andrea! I tell everyone I know about our Sleep Number bed. It's simply amazing. Everything they say in the commercials is true. We used to have a regular innerspring mattress and we both tossed all night. Then I herniated a disc after years of bad posture working at the computer (I'm an art director) and I needed a firm mattress ... and I mean F-I-R-M. We bought a Sleep Number and we love, love, love it. Sometimes I fall asleep now on one side and wake up the next morning in the same exact position. No joke. And my back has never felt better.

pete i love you!
that being said

i ordered the mattress and foundation from the link you provided.
i contacted them via the phone number on the link
talked to antoinne

he punched in a few keystrokes and voilla! the plush dynasty css king same as lacabana

and yes ken, it is a marketing thing and lacabana will get some kind of incentive and paul and i will get the bed we want.

total by ordering it from the manufacturer is: INCLUDING king sized mattress, foundation, delivery and set up and sales tax
$866.80 total
15 yr prorated warranty
thank you
andrea

we tried a sleep number bed for a week. paul hated it and i loved it.
our bed history:
1983 - 1992 a queen mattress sterns and foster our large dog made us give it up and go for a king.

1992-1997 a water bed. individual baffle filled water tubes. it was great for me. paul hated it. the dog loved it too.

1997 - 2003 a stearns and foster that the dog loved and paul and i hated.
2003- present (large dog deceased and now we have a small dog) and a memory foam FIRM. we felt sagging after a month so they swapped it out for us. few months later, the bed was sagging and we complained it was hot. they in turn upgraded us to a not so "hot" model and we find that one worse. we only sleep well out of our own bed.

glad the sleep # bed works for you. i liked it.

if this dynasty css bed that i ordered today is unacceptable, i am divorcing paul and will get what suits ME. after all it is all about me isn't it?

meanwhile our friends have been sleeping on the same queen sized mattress for 25 years.
