I can't believe how bad Puerto Rico got hit. There is a very large Puerto Rican population in our town. Many have not heard from relatives. There was a fundraising event and supplies were collected, but they have been unable to get the supplies to Puerto Rico.

we have a lovely elderly couple 2 doors down from us that are puerto rican by birth, but floridians for 70+ years.
just today, they went from our local airport (they chartered a jet) and brought tons of supplies that they had solicited for and collected.
they are kind and generous good people.

i hope many donate to hurricane relief.
