This sort of thing can happen anywhere unfortunately, and I'm very sorry your daughter had to experience it. My son had an Ipod stolen from his car when he left it unlocked one night, and his wallet was stolen from his backpack during P.E. a couple of years ago. Luckily, he carries very little money in his wallet, and his most valued possession was his learner's permit, which we were able to replace. My hope is for karma to make a little visit to the thieves.

Cindy,

I feel your pain, as a matter of fact i hear your pain, a similiar situation happen to my daughter, lic, credit card, and a week in cash that she just got from work. I'm so sorry for all of you. Religion class also, well you can only hope , the big man was looking down and going to make that person view religion in a new light.

Hi Cindy,

I am a firm believer that GOD will take care of him/her/them, who ever it was. I know its an incovinience, but like you said, this will be a lesson for all of us, and that things can go wrong even in Catholic schools. Hope all works out.

I saw more theft, violence and drug abuse in catholic school than in public school. I just stuck with minor harassment of the school officials, like changing door locks and krazy gluing desks to walls.

We have managed to semi put her life/wallet back together. License re-ordered, bank card arrived, cash replenished with job and an old wallet resurected...
Thanks everyone for their well wishes, and screw the thief....

I know this is very frustrating as a parent to see when your child has been ripped off... around Christmas time my daughter had all her Christmas money (that she received from DH side of the family)stolen from her wallet at school...which for some strange reason she thought that I would pay her back??? it was a lesson that she had to learn the hard way...
