Can you burn a CD and send it in the mail? I am far from an expert on how to send whole folders...

I doubt you will be able to. Right click the folder and click properties and tell me the size of the folder. It will probably be to large to send via email you might have to either (A) compress the folder if it isn't to large or unfortunately send a few in multiple emails. Most ISP providers limit the size of the email sent or received. Best bet is to just to copy the folder and burn it to a cd and mail it to her.

    Andrea,
That file will be way too big for email even if you compress it!. A CD might be the best. If you must email it, then you will need to compress it with a program that will break up the compressed file into multiple smaller files that you can email. (But way too much work). Easier to just mail a CD!.

I guess it wouldn't be a good time to ask how you back up the files on your computer?

Burning a CD is actually quite easy!

If you are using Windows which probably you are....

Put a CD-R into your cd burner/dvd burner.
Then goto the folder that you are going to want to burn.
Open My Computer and Navigate to the folder. Right click on the FOLDER that you want to burn.
Select "SEND TO" from the popup menu
A new menu will open where you will then select the CD drive.
Click on the CD Drive and the computer will start to copy the files.
You will most likely get a popup by your clock sayin "there are files waiting to be burned onto a CD" Click on that popup
A new window will open and you will see all the files waiting to be copied. Just make sure that the original copying dialog is closed and all the files are in the new window.
Then you will click "Burn to CD" either in the FILE menu, or if using Vista will be on the top of that window. You will get a wizard to open to continue the burn.

    Wala.
    You have a burned CD.

I wrote this all from memory, so if I skipped something let me know.
