thanks all for the kind words!!!

    Jupiter inlet may be spared.

As of the current lines....it looks like Irma is going to make a south to north straight line.
Brady Bear in the Jacksonville area may be spared too!!

The euro model will come out at 2 am.

    We are scared.

Thoughts and prayers are with you, and with everyone in Irmas path. What part of FL are you in Andrea?

Weather here (at work) is raining and a little windy.
Actually live in the Daytona Beach area about 5 miles from the beach. They have a no driving ban after 4pm on Sunday for us and all stores must be closed today by 5pm (I think .. )
Now Jose is in the back. Just pray he doesn't hit those islands already hit.
Thank you everyone for thinking about all of us here.

Yesterday 67 dialysis patients arrived from St Maarten for emergency treatment. One of them sadly passed away during the flight. Arubans donated a LOT of basic material like clothes and hygiene products for them. Besides that over 100 volunteers including policemen, firemen, medical personnel have been transported to St Maarten in addition to the 100+ arumil forces that have already been sent over to help our sister island!

I was just talking to a friend who spends 3-4 every winter in a timeshare in St. Maarten. They have lots of friends there. So much of the island's buildings are gone or badly damaged. Their resort-storm surge took out the first floor and the 5 floor is badly damaged because the roof came off. He was telling me about his friend's home. The man had hurricane shutters on his windows, but the wind caused the door to blow in and the roof to come off. He said if it was made of wood, it is gone. They're hoping their resort will be open enough by Feb. when they usually go so they can go down and help the people of St. Maarten.

cannot stop thinking about you, just praying for you to stay strong and safe. Happy when I see you still posting....we are all here for you and everyone else. I cannot imagine dealing with this, just watching the weather channel is depressing me, so, so scary.
