iTouch and WiFi
Daughter number one got an iTouch (this is NOT a phone) last night which, I guess, has internet access in WiFi areas.
Question....do these work in Aruba? It would be great.....she could stop bugging me about using my work computer every night to contact her friends.

I use my itouch in Aruba via wi-fi all the time and it works great. I would suggest to download Skype (it is free on iTunes) to make all of your calls back to the States. You just need the earphones with a microphone to use Skype.
(I am writing this message from my iTouch using free Wi-Fi at a local dinner). Regards, |

are there FREE wifi hotspots in aruba?
i always was under the impression that one has to buy the card/time and then use it from any hotspot location. are there free places? |

There are a few free wifi hotspots on the island. Moomba's and Salt & Pepper both have free wifi. Amsterdam Manor is another one - we've used it on balcony and in our room for free there. Don't know if any other hotels offer it for free though.

The other daughter is now thinking she wants one as we just read her this post. You might just have made our vacation more than perfect as I could see them fighting over the phone we were thinking of buying to call BF's.
