Luggage theift

Couple at Sky Harbor Phoenix Int. arrested for luggage theft, they say this could have been going on for 1 yr. Arrested with over 1,000 bags, neighbors said they were holding a unusual number of garage sales. Hus. & Wife ages 62 & 38 would go to the airport at least once a day to grab off the carousel.

Saw it on the news this a.m. The police investigators actually had to get box trucks to cart away the 1000 suitcases!

I don't know who in their right mind would this, but they some even have PASS PORTS in them.

Dh learned his lesson the hard way not to place valuables in suitcases when he had his video camera stolen out of his luggage in Iceland of all places.

not that i would consider doing it, but stealing luggage off the carousel could be a cakewalk. just like leaving luggage outside your suite door on a cruise ship. balked that deal 15 yrs ago pre 911 era and refused to leave my luggage for ANYBODY to steal ot to tamper with. those poor unfortunate folks whose stuff was taken by these "ALLEGED" luggage thieves....."alleged" and i use that term loosely see the thread i am going to create in the off topic
