    Marathon Bombing, Watertown/Belmont/Waltham/Boston lockdown

    Unbelievable

The shootout was 100 yds from my husband's brother's house in the east end of Watertown (he and his wife are quite shaken). Suspect 1 is dead. Suspect 2 on the run.

    Scary stuff.

Wow that's crazy. I've been watching the news since 6:00 this morning. With the T not operating and no cab service many neighbors have stayed home from work. Very tense and somber here in Quincy as well, and we are a distance away. Thoughts are with your family. Hope they capture this guy soon!!!!

I used to live in Watertown. Dense area of homes! Yikes for your relatives Andrea.
We have been waiting all day to hear on the Boston Bruins game tonite. With the T shut down I can hardly see how anyone can get in.

Keep safe everyone up jn that area

I just saw on nbcnews.com that the Bruins game is cancelled.

The bombing on Monday, the ricin-laced letters, the explosion in Waco - what a tragic week for our country!

Reports say suspect has been cornered in a yard on Franklin St in Watertown. They're saying he is in a boat in the yard. Shots were just fired. Hopefully it ends shortly without anyone else being hurt.
