MOVIES @ theater or @ HOME

I read/listened to the book "the time traveler's wife"and just could NOT get into it.

We watched the DVD of "the time traveler's wife" after supper tonight and i am still crying.

IMO it is a must see.
Paul says...don't bother.

That's the book I read on our Aruba vacation! I thought it was good (the ending was a little odd). I do want to see the movie now to see if/how it's different.

I will admit the beginning of the book was tough to follow.
I'll see if I can find the DVD and report back Andrea.

didn't real the book, but that is one on my list that I would like to see. Now to find the time to watch it, with out my children....
Is that the one that they said they changed the ending from the book in the movie?
Usually you either like the book or like the movie, since they are usually two different things....

You might be thinking of My Sister's Keeper. The book and movie had completely different endings.

per my daughter in law who read the book a yr ago and saw the movie recently.
she said they are both very much alike.
she said the endings are alike.
said that in the movie, friend GOMEZ has a much smaller role than in the book.

she felt that if she had not read the book 1st, then she would have found the mmovie confusing.
