a lieutenant jg in navy reserve.
got his promotion rank yesterday.
:-)

next week goes to brooklyn navy yard, to be an engineer on his Mass Maritime ship TSS Kennedy.
ship coming out of dry dock and needs to make its way back to MAss Maritime.
so, kevin's reserve duty for his summer duty is to be an engineer on it for the 2 weeks.

paul and i are very proud of him.

i will relay your congrats to him.
he really has a great job....nuke engineer for dept of defense @ portsmouth naval base in kittery me. and 4 wks a year does reserve duty. in may he spent 2 weeks on the abraham lincoln and on a military sealift command oiler bobbing around off of san diego.
now he get to be on his "old training ship" as a naval officer.
he is very blessed.

I'm a bit confused? Did you mean Ltjg? As far asw I'm aware, 2nd lieutenant isn't a naval rank. In any event give him my congrats as well!

well i just questioned my husband again and yes danny when paul relayed the msg to me from kevin, he misposke lieutenant jg.

WEll done to him! If you want to wind him up though, refer to him as "Junior". It always gets a rise.
