My Hero...I have 2

My father who always gave me and showed me how to be the person I am today. My other hero is my son Chase who recently was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, he is a trooper. Not only is he my son but also my best friend. I am dedicated to my family and do whatever I have to do to provide and give them the best of me and everything else that come with a loving family!

how is chase doing?
is it becoming easier for him, all of you?
i do not like the word routine, but is it becoming more routine?

with type 1 diabetes, he takes insulin injections?

drop us a note now and again mark so we can hear how he is doing?

Hi Mark -

We've been living with Type I for nine years (next month) at our house. My now 22 year old son was diagnosed when he was 13. He has done very well (although is A1C is higher than I'd like) and is now a college senior. It is a very "livable" condition. We are lucky at how far technology has come to help these children and adults. We are lucky to live an hour from Joslin Clinic in Boston. Please feel free to pm me if you'd like.
