Not Aruba but new to Myrtle Beach... and suggestions

Decided if I can't do another Aruba trip. Always heard nice things about Myrtle Beach and staying on the Boardwalk and 14th ave area any suggestions what to do and where to eat.

We have been to those area's already and Key West.
Lou wants a road trip to the SC coast. Well I thought Myrtle Beach might be nice.
Might have to do some research.

We stayed in Garden City which is south of Myrtle. Definitely plan an evening to walk around Broadway at the Beach. They have all kinds of restaurants and stores, as well as an aquarium. Key West Grill has a perfect mojito. If you don't mind driving a little ways, the Marshwalk at Murrells Inlet has great fresh seafood. Wicked Tuna is pricey but amazing food.
7 trips in and still finding things to love. #8 will be great in November!

It's about 450 miles away... so not too bad.
My sister may meet me too.

Brady Bear, I would also consider Hilton Head if you are looking at S.C. It is wonderful, and not as commercial as Myrtle Beach. The Hilton Head area is beautiful.

Yes, as hatteras says Hilton Head, also Kiawah, Isle of Palms, even Folly Beach near Charleston would be places to research.

I agree with Walt. If you decide not to go to Hilton Head, all of the beaches that he mentioned around Charleston would be good. Then you could also visit magnificent Charleston. Just a heads up, Folly Beach is where all of the college kids hang out, and it can turn into quite the party beach at times. But I still suggest looking into Hilton Head, also. It is one of our favorites. Since it is a 9 hour drive for us, we don't get there very often.
