i keep pinching myself and hoping that this week long forecast will hold true.

re: tropical storm FAY or hurricane FAY
Lisa i hope this storm is a slow over and brings much needed rain to your neck of the woods in georgia.

Boy oh boy, with only .39 inches of rain this month we are surely praying for rain. 12 inches from a tropical storm would not break the drought, but would help us catch up on the rainfall for the year. With what rain we have had so far this year, it would probably put us even with the "normal" average for the year.

Well...they changed their outlook yet again at 5 pm. Looking much better for us to get a LOT of rain, but they are now worried about the flooding it would cause and the state climatologist says one storm will not end our drought anyway.
