Our new passports have arrived - yay! Only took a few weeks, and I thought there was a delay problem! My question is -- our old passports weren't with the new ones -- do they arrive separately later? So many memories in those old stamps!!

when i did ours few years back the arrived promptly and in same envelope.there is phone number on application you could call and ask them.

we had to renew ours back last spring.
the old ones were not returned.
i contacted the dept of state and was told old passports are not returned.

A friend of mine just got her new one a few months ago and the old one was sent about a week later.

our old ones were sent about a week later in a separate envelope. but this was a few years ago. that may have changed.

ours were in feb 2011.

Renewed our passports in October. Old passports were returned app 3 weeks later.
