Condolences to his wife and family, no matter what you think, about the other situation, he was human, a husband, and a father, and only 57. RIP

I saw Mr. & Mrs. van der Slloot walking hand in hand down Palm Beach one Saturday morning.
They went a ways turned around then stopped at De Palm Pier for a cup of coffee.
I thought to myself, they could have been any other couple such as any one of us.
I imagine Mrs. Vandersloot is dearly missing her loved one. She has my sympathies.

Such a terrible tradgedy. Prayers go out to family. Makes you wonder what secrets he took to the grave.

Personally, I don't care what he knew or not. I know them
and they were very nice people. They have been very
kind to us and we will miss Paul. I know in my family
my one sister was just never 'right'. Had nothing to
do with how she was raised or the love she got.
She put my parents and family thru hell. Sometimes
bad things happen to nice people.

Just very sad that the family can't grieve in peace.

While bad things do happen to nice people, I can't fathom not caring whether he knew or didn't know anything. If he "knew" something pertaining to the case, an honest man should speak the truth. While he was a husband, father, son, dad & friend....the other family lost their daughter, sister, grandchild friend.
