God is good! Enjoy Baltimore, heck.... Enjoy the rest of your blessed life together.
Baltimore is a wonderful city if you have a chance head down to the seaport, take in a game...
Safe travel guys. You have a wonderful story to tell.
Our prayers are with you and Tom for a speedy recovery and a healthy life. We understand what you are going through Peggy as our son had received a new kidney in the middle of the night almost 4 years ago. He was on kidney dialysis for 7 years and thought it would never happen. This is all the more reason for more organ donors as oh so many people can be helped.
Morning all. I'm going to close this thread with one more update so that we can all get back to one happy island. Tom was released yesterday afternoon with a tote bag full of prescriptions, blood pressure monitor, glucose reader, pill box etc. he is feeling wonderful and slept through the night. He even had a nice dinner at the hotel of short ribs, potato and veg so his appetite is good. Today he needs to get some walking in. We have labs and clinic set for next week. So we're one step closer to home and maybe just a few steps from Aruba!
It's unknown what a bump in the road called life can cause. In ths case you have both survived and come through intact, so all we can wish you is many, many more happy years together and many more trips to Aruba.
