    Perfect Game Ruined

Is there anyone who knows anything about baseball that doesn't believe that Detroit Tiger's pitcher Armando Gallaragga wasn't robbed last night?

The umpire had the class to admit the mistake. The 28 year old pitcher showed more dignity and class than anyone could ever expect. The pathetic Commissioner of baseball, Bud Selig, refuses to right the wrong.

    Selig, you are gutless.

Please don't post and disagree with me....I am torqued off enough already.

The umpire will have to live with this for the rest of his life.
Both men were gracious in the handling of the situation.
All the more reason for instituting instant replay rules.
No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes , but the replay rule DURING the game would have fixed a wrong.

There's no doubt that Joyce is sincerely apologizing for his error. I applaud Galarraga for the way he is handling it! He was definitely robbed of a great thing! We all know that he pitched a perfect game!

I don't follow sports at all, but I feel so bad for this pitcher! He was on the Early Show today, and he is a perfect gentleman about the whole situation. That ump will have to live with this for the rest of his life!

This has been handled very classy by both sides, but I'm not to sure it wasn't the right call, if you look at the replay the ball pops out of his glove for a split second?
