Thank you Aruba Ace. I have been saying prayers for you and your family as well. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother.

Tom's feeling good, just a little tired but they said that could happen midway through the cycle. They told us to watch out for fevers on days 9-15. So far, no issues thankfully.

I certainly hope you start feeling better! So frustrating to be on vacation and not able to enjoy yourself. Get rest so you can enjoy those grandkids!!!

We got some good news so I just wanted to share. Tom had a Petscan last week so when we went in yesterday for his Chemo treatment yesterday they gave us the results. All the abnormalities that were on his original scan were gone. Even the blood clot appears to be gone, so we know the Chemo is doing the job. We expect for him to continue treatment until the end of February. He'll need to meet with Transplant to see about going back on immunosuppressants. They will probably put him on a reduced dose. His liver numbers are remaining stable. It really is amazing. I believe the power of prayers has a lot to do with it so thank you all for your support!

Thanks CP! I probably should have done a new thread. We were both astounded to hear the results and quite happy! I know there could be challenges with the immunosuppressants but he's been tolerating the treatment and getting good labs.
