Ash Wednesday we had pasta and my vegetable tomato sauce. Friday we had fried clams and this week I made Minestrone Soup (if you think the chicken broth counts then we are going to hell, but I am confident we are not just take my word for it ) accompanied by my secret recipe Tuna Salad sandwiches.
Need ideas for the other 6 or so Fridays left...Man cannot live on pizza alone and we save that for emergencies.

Here we are... another Lenten season.
On our menu tonight-- stuffed shells, brocolli with lemon and garlic (it's an Italian thing ) and a salad.
Was just in Aruba beautiful place great time. Had a drink call Costa Caribe searched on net for recipe not listed? Contain Blue Curacao, Coconut creme, Green melon juice? Is there an actual recipe to follow??
Just tried this out on the way to the Buffett show in Philly last month, I'll be doing this more often.
1 pound of shrimp, peeled
1 bottle of lime juice
1 package of organic shredded coconut
Put the shrimp in a plastic container, dump in the lime juice, add a few handfuls of coconut. Shake at regular intervals, for more intense flavor leave overnight. Put the shrimp on skewers and onto the grill over low-medium heat. Enjoy with Balashi, Landshark or Corona.
