    All these strange things I haven't heard of but gravy oh yes... most definitely on a traditional roast dinner... roast potatoes carrots cabbage pigs in blankets chicken and sage stuffing ... oh and here's one for you spotted dick hmmm! in case your wondering... how rude ...

    Definitely Va. country ham, along with sweet iced tea, mac and cheese, gravy and biscuits, also turkey and gravy (not made the same way as biscuit gravy) crabs, crab legs, crab cakes, crab dip (actually, anything with crab), and coming from the peanut capital of the world, never boiled peanuts!

    what are boiled peanuts? I have heard of salted peanuts roasted peanuts, peanut butter

    in many parts of the south in the usa..boiled peanuts are enjoyed by some...despised by many.
    they are boiled and slimey and disgusting.

    Shrimp and grits, corn muffins w/bacon, she crab soup w/ sherry, salmon patties, okra gumbo, low country boil, sweet iced tea, fried green tomatoes....and boiled peanuts!

    Boiled peanuts are everywhere in Myrtle Beach, everyone in our beach house loved them - except me.

    Real NC style pulled pork with vinegar based sauce. There is no equal. (NC is really just Southern Virginia)

    We are from Northern Ontario, Canada and I was thinking poutine too! We also have something called Porketta Bingo, where you play bingo for a porketta lol! Many French Canadian dishes like meat pie and baked beans at Christmas holidays.
