Rob and Cindy, SO happy AA did the right thing! What a relief. Now you will be in Aruba where its theraputic and your healing will climb off the charts. Through this tragedy there was always the best place in the world waiting right there for your return...and you guys are going! Allelujia <3 Stay well. Sending healing thoughts!

good news....bad news....

the bad - Just checked on the internet.....the plane that we were supposed to be on just landed in Aruba.

the good - Five weeks from now....it will be us!

They haven't arrived yet...back at the hospital...cornea abrasion on "good eye", and pink eye in the "bad" eye. Basically blind right now. I can't see the good times right now, nor can Rob..kids kinda "flooded" the shower, big brown line appeared across the ceiling this morning...

You are NOT complaining...you are venting which you need to do. Good times will be here soon. The bad times are just making you stronger. You'll see.

That's the right place for it.

I remain upbeat and optimistic.....you would be surprised how much it helps to hear from my "friends" on this site....you folks are great.

Hi Lisa,

We're doing pretty well. Ryan is now getting ABA therapy in home & has already shown a difference. They've had to tweak his program twice already

Fought the insurance company and won !!!!! They attempted to state that ABA Therapy is not a proven therapy to help children on the Autism Spectrum....Go figure.

So we've been VERY busy. He gets outside speech therapy on Monday nights

Tues - Friday we have ABA from 3-6pm and that's after a full day of school.

as of right now Saturday's are free (we are awaiting a therapist for the weekends)

and on Sunday's he goes swimming with IOH (Instructors of the Handicapped)

due to all of this we are unable to visit our favorite Island this year

but we're okay with it.
