Thanks for asking everyone, I appreciate this. I hate to take over the forum with this problem. Everyone has been so nice, and all the prayers have been so appreciated.
AA is starting to be cooperative, will report when I have good news on that end.

Dr. tomorrow will be the one to really know.

Following my September eye surgery,
I was horrified that a opthamologic "plastic surgeon" could slash up my eyes so badly.
I am not vain, but was extremely surprised how bad it looked.
Now 2 months later I do see scarring will be minimal. I promise it gets better!

But do you REALLY want to look like a hockey player?

no unnecessary scarring robo but, if you really want a HeMan look, a few missing teeth might be in order too.

whatever the trip's outcome, so be it! the important thing is that rob is on the mend!

Hey I played hockey my entire life through college. Surprisingly I never lost any teeth. Just a couple of stitches.

Rob and Cindy we are glad to hear things are getting better. Keep us posted.

I'm a wimp and wear a visor. Teeth can be replaced eyes, on the other hand, not so much.

Next time you go to the eye doctor, write down the bottom line and memorize it. Then read it off to him the next time you're in there. Alternatively, when they ask you to read the lowest line you can see, just tell them "E, I think". FOr some reason my doctors are always happy to get me out of their office.

Keep up the recovery and don't push yourself too much.

Played hockey for nearly 30 years....worst injury was loss of half a tooth. On the other hand, tore my ACL, took a huge stitch cut on my wrist and, now, almost lost an eye to softball. So, does that mean softball is more dangerous than hockey?
