Just grandma. SIL Brad just called. Tina's water broke at 6:30 this morning but she is not dilating. They are going to start inducing her now.

HANG IN THERE TINA...Ah, the pain is still vivid in my mind...HOWEVER, worth it !

childbirth, pain = DRUGS
epidural with a valium drip

drugs for childbirth were n eeded for me
heck i wish i had them for the 9 months of pregnancy

Tina called about 1 1/2 hrs ago. They gave her an epidural even though she wasn't dilated enough. I said "i guess your not going to have natural childbirth". lol.

Brad just called. The baby is not dropping. The doctor said she would come back about 4:30. Looks certain they will do a C section around 5 pm.

Thank you Andrea. You were the first to see the pictures of Gage. I'm not going to post the link tonight. I want to take more pictures tomorrow and then I will post the site.

Gage was born at 5:55 pm. He is 21 1/2 inches long and 8 lbs. 9 ozs. Tina did have a C section. There was no way she was going to deliver that guy naturally. Tina saw the baby and had a couple of pic's taken after his birth but she hasn't seen his since. He is in ICU as Tina is a diabetic and they have to keep checking his sugar level every hour (or 1/2 hour, I'm not sure). When his sugar level is where it should be 2 times in a row, then he can go to the nursery. I felt so bad for him. I was in ICU when the nurse keep sticking needles in him taking blood.
