My sincere apologies for bringing the cold hard facts of this issue to light, but I figured someone had to bring out a little clarification.
When I first saw the horses, I was pretty pissed. When I saw the I Love Aruba sign, I was pretty pissed.
When I learned through mutual acquaintances the truth behind the story, I was past pissed.
Again, sorry to bring the ugliness of this all to the board, but the truth needed to be told, and the perpetrator needs to be heard and his kids need justice and protection.
One question... someone mentioned previously that it was difficult to believe or accept that the priest from the church could be accused or even suggested.
What's so hard to believe... it seemingly happens more often than anyone would like to think.... Aruba's no different than Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York.
The hideous behaviour happens ALL OVER THE PLANET, and often, sadly, it is in fact members of the clergy.
Don't be so shocked by it, after all, those people are also only human, they have the same faults and foibles as the rest of humanity.
'Nuf said on that.
Let's hope the father gets justice for his kids. Simple as that.
There's a lot of different opinions on the island as to how people should live their lives, and often,
peoples' philosophical or "religious" beliefs play a major part in the way people are treated.
Yeah, even in paradise.
