We looked at something similar at Costco last week but need the DVD burner for traveling to back up videos and photos.

It is a good name to have. Most of us only make that mistake once in our lives.

I have had a 64GB since last year.
I know you can get at least 128GB's now. Of course the price goes up with the sizes. The 64GB have gone down to $150 and are still dropping in price. Carsten |

Ok to start a little off topic.
But I see people using the intials "DH" and "DD" what do they mean??? OK back to subject... Flash drives are great! BUT. they are kinda small. I shot over 1200 photos on vacation at 5 MB a piece that is over 6 GB, plus I have a Little Video Camera a FLIP MINO (60 minutes of HD Video) Smaller than a Cell phone. I would not rely totally on a flash drive. I have seen too many of them damaged and UNRECOVERABLE! I personally use External Drives to store my data. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822149076 $70 gets you 320 GB of storage!! That is a lot of backup! And just so people know this DO NOT RELY on cd's and dvd's for secure back up. People do not realize that cd's and dvd's that are burned on computers are not rated to last forever. I have to find the information, but if my memory serves me right, they are only rated for about 7 years. Also, the most important part of the cd or dvd to protect is the LABEL side. people think that the underside of the disc is the important side. If you scratch the labelside of the disc that can make the disc unreadable. The information burned is actually burned on the underside of the lable, the plastic part of the disc is only for stability. Enough of my rant. Always back up your important data to more than one type of device, either CD and external drive, or multiple drives, or to online service, like photobucket.
